Is the installing company also responsible for your monitoring services?

	Many security companies do not have their own monitoring station, instead your services are contracted out to another service provider.
	Telsco is a full service security company, we install, service and monitor all of our own customers.

Is their monitoring station ULC Listed?

	Underwriter's Laboratory of Canada is an independent governing board that sets strict standards for quality control in monitoring services.
	At Telsco we have held our ULC listing since 1970.

Does your monitoring station have a False Alarm Reduction Program?

	False alarms are inconvenient and expensive.
	At Telsco, our dispatch procedures utilize enhanced verification measures to minimize the occurrence of false Police dispatches.

How often does my system communicate with your monitoring station?

	Security systems have the ability to communicate their internal status on a daily basis to any monitoring station.
	This communication in the form of a "daily test signal" allows the monitoring station to confirm that the system is functioning correctly, and that it is able to communicate in the event of an emergency.
	At Telsco, we program our security systems to report daily, in the event of a "failure to test" an operator will contact you, and a service technician will respond.

How much does your monitoring services cost?

	The price of monitoring services range anywhere from $19.95 - $34.95 / month and customers are required to sign either a 3 or 5 year monitoring agreement.
	At Telsco, our residential monitoring rate is $23.00 (+ GST) and we ask that our customers sign a 1 year monitoring agreement.
